The days before 15 Dec 09 - you may catch insects as many as you can.

15 Dec 09 - we all gather at Bonnie's house at 9 a.m and then go to the park nearby to catch some insects.

16 Dec 09 - we will go to FRC again.(confirmed). We gather at mile 4 cool at 7.30 a.m. ( suggestion)

Biology experiment

Sorry because the photos are not in the right order. Anyway, we went to rdc on Friday to do our biology experiment, which is to preserve plants and insect. In order to do that, we need to collect plants from the forest. Took us a few hours to walk through the jungle and collect different plant leaves that in actuality, looked the same to us. The guide was really knowledgeable and patient with us, who were fooling around.

Yean took this from the canopy walk, I was too scared to raise the camera.

This is a HUGE grasshopper. Shocked us.

We tried imitating the way they pin the legs, and the insect ended up
with 2 legs gone.

We did this! Aren't we good? *ehem* Although the butterfly wasn't dead yet when we pin it down, we still stick a pin through its abdomen and pin its wings down. It must be suffering. We are sorry. Rest in peace, butterfly.

Trying to catch insects. It was VERY, VERY hard. Our version of insect catching involve swinging the net from side to side, and hitting the plants. In the end, caught some butterflies, moths and dragonflies.

Happy Birthday To Andy Liew & Bonnie Liew

Today we held a surprise birthday party for the last 2 classmates born in November. The plan? We told Bonnie that we will be going to the cinema at 1pm and Andy will be fetching her. Instead of doing so, the class gather in the morning and hunt for presents. After 1 hour of wandering around mile 4, we finally bought 2 perfumes. It was raining the whole day, unfortunately for us.

After lunch, we went to Bonnie's house. We were supposed to send someone in to ask for the toilet while the rest of the class prepare the surprise. However, Andy drove straight past her house. Bonnie noticed and came out. We were immediately in panic mode. We were screaming (shrieking actually) "NOOOO!! DON'T COME OUT, DON'T COME OUT!!!"

We spent some time at Bonnie's house while waiting for LWC to come. Later we went to Veda Blue for some ice-cream before heading home.
